Well, at this rate it will be February of 2025 (our return date) in the blink of an eye!

We made it to Santa Rosa on Monday the 21st after making a side trip to see the Sacramento Temple.

Such a beautiful temple and friendly service missionaries who were cleaning the fountain--there were turkeys on the temple grounds! Temple Turkeys 😅

We were warmly welcomed by the mission office staff in Santa Rosa. (Pres. and Sister Quinn had called and informed us they would be out visiting missionaries in another district.) We picked up our keys and found our cozy apartment which is about 10 minutes from the mission home. After unpacking, we dropped into bed.

We were up at dawn on Tuesday ready to meet our New Day, which brought about deer in the headlights on my part and frustration on Roger's. Our young elders who were doing our jobs were at the temple-- they had to work their regular p-day. (The Senior Missionaries we replaced had gone home early due to their daughter being ill.)

Elder Larsen (Senior Finance Missionary from Riverton) gave us a tour of the building, then I went through the e-mails that had come to housing over the weekend, then I helped Sister Larsen with cutting some laminated cards. Roger spent the day trying to get the necessary 'permissions' okayed to get onto the sites he needed.

We met with President and Sister Quinn, then he took the office Senior Missionaries to get lunch at a delicious sandwich place-we came back to eat around the President's office table and discussed miracles. Sister Quinn had an amazing story of finding a 'missing box' which had been lost during moving, in a locked, out of the way room. Sister Schneider (Mission Nurse) shared a wish 'I had brought my favorite pan'-- and there was one in her apartment story. The spirit was strong and testimonies of our Heavenly Father's mindfulness of each one of us permeated the room.

The office day ended and we went home to a granola bar dinner since we hadn't had time or energy to shop for food.-- It was enough.

Breakfast-protein shakes and granola bars-- it was enough,

Today, August 23rd went much smoother-- our young missionary guides-Elder Scoresby and Elder Andersen--were there-- SO MUCH TO LEARN! I thought I had learned this foreign language with my pre-mission mentor and at the MTC---NOT!

Tomorrow is transfer day-- a busy day ahead! Then next week we will travel and participate in 5 zone conferences! The next week, a visiting General Authority will be with us-- Another busy week.

Tonight I went with Sister Schneider to take a young Sister Missionary and her companion to dinner. -- 5 GUYS- yum! She is going home to have her ACL repaired. What a great blessing to be surrounded by righteous young and senior women!

When I got home, what a great surprise! Roger had stopped and gotten food for tomorrow!--Cheerios, lunchables and grapes! Hooray! It is enough.

I am blessed and grateful (still overwhelmed, but grateful,😔) Thank you!❤️ Heavenly Father for seeing me worthy to serve.
