Month #11 of 18 — time is speeding up! My heart is here and there. I watch the weather both places and constantly compare what is happening. It seems that we are about 2 months ahead in the growing season compared to Utah. It’s beautiful, but beginning to turn yellow.
Another busy month!
A bit of calm before the busy— This is an old California Santa Rosa Mission Plaque that we saw in one of the apartments— I’m wondering how long ago this was used?

June brought us the blessing of missionaries! When there is a baptism, the missionaries in the zone come! It’s a joyful time as new members take their first step on the covenant path. We all celebrate!

June brought us new cars! The office couples help bring them in.

Back home they celebrated birthdays! We were there in spirit! We love all of our children and grandchildren and great grandchildren so much! We were promised that they would be blessed if we came to serve. The blessings will be for all!❤️

I go for walks in the morning—some of the beauty — witnesses of the love our Heavenly Father has for us!
The next few photos are of transfers! Such a fun, exciting and renewing time! The joy can be felt around the whole church property. Missionaries find their new companions, trade cars and phones, hug old companions and load up their cars in a half an hour! It’s a whirlwind of happiness!

President and Sister Quinn are out and about encouraging efficiency!

In the same week, missionaries go home, new ones come in. The Assistants work so hard!! Such amazing young men!

Training takes place the same week! The office missionaries fix breakfast before the training. The bottom 2 photos are at the Mission home. We have sandwiches from Mr. Pickles and the office couples bring salads.

Then zone conference!

We usually stop at some beach or redwood grove on the way.

This family recognized me from when I lived in Cache Valley— a small world!

Zone conference 8 zones in 5 days— beautiful music and great training. We are out checking cars for most of it— tires, fluids, and cleanliness— making sure the cars are in good shape.

Do you see the joy and love of President Quinn? We all feel it! In each zone the Stake Relief Society fixes us lunch. It’s so appreciated! Brother Isgrigg helps us with the cars. We admired his car— he built it himself!

The members in the wards sign up to provide dinners for the missionaries on the weekends. Bishop Sullivan included us! We also had a linger longer at the ward.

We’ve made good friends with the Lunds— they know good places to eat and we enjoy their good company! The house is where Pollyanna was filmed.

We were honored to take an elder to the airport— I shared the Snoopy photo— Elder Hong sent us his!
The APs were SO tired after a full week of non stop responsibilities! They came in an dropped to the floor!

More from zone conference

Still more

And more!

And a little bit of this and that! The top left is not my photo and was taken earlier during the rainy season it’s now the hot season as many of you know back home and across the nation.
June— turned into July! It’s almost over and time to start again! The ebb and flow of mission life! Miracles & missionaries!❤️
